Custom Chiller Designs

Most applications can be satisfied with a standard series but when a custom application or design is required, custom solutions are readily considered and designed. Custom temperature ranges, cooling capacities, and transfer fluid requirements are all potential modifications available.

Air or water cooled condensers

Chillers can be manufactured in either air or water cooled heat exchange systems. Air cooled systems liberate waste heat to the environment where water cooled systems reject waste heat to a secondary cooling loop or plant cooling system.

Pump and process fluid selected for each application’s requirements

Several factors are considered for each application and the selection of the heat transfer fluid. Process fluid types are recommended based upon the required temperature range, wetted material construction, and heat transfer capacity. Fluid characteristics at the wide range of temperature conditions also affect the fluid’s viscosity and pumping ability.
